2008 Family Place Golf Scramble

Champion Sports Tours was thrilled to be the official Hospitality Management Company for the 2008 Family Place Golf Scramble.  The Family Place is a child abuse treatment agency located in Louisville, Kentucky that focuses on helping families recover from various forms of child abuse in their homes. 

This year’s event marked the 5th annual fundraising golf tournament for Family Place, and the first year our company has helped to manage their event.  Our focus was to introduce fresh ideas to the tournament with the ultimate goal of raising more proceeds for Family Place than ever before.  By implementing innovative fundraising methods and securing sponsorships from a few new corporations, we were able to create additional revenue streams for the charity. 

With the tremendous support of Buckhead Mountain Grill and a dedicated Volunteer Staff, Champion Sports Tours was able to work with the Family Place to achieve the most successful fundraising golf scramble in the event’s history.
